Picking the Right Airport For The Right Grand Canyon Experience

Many visitors don't realize the difference in the rims of the Grand Canyon.

If you are planning to visit the Skywalk, the closest airport is in Las Vegas. You can visit the Skywalk in just one day from Las Vegas and be back in time for dinner and a show. It is only 3 hours by ground or 20-30 minutes by air but if you stay in Phoenix, you will be 5 hours drive from the Skywalk.

If you are planning on going to the National park, you want to land in Phoenix or Flagstaff Arizona as it is a 5 1/2 hour drive away. There are also tours available to the South Rim, National Park from Las Vegas if you prefer.
