Picking the Right Airport For The Right Grand Canyon Experience

Many visitors don't realize the difference in the rims of the Grand Canyon.

If you are planning to visit the Skywalk, the closest airport is in Las Vegas. You can visit the Skywalk in just one day from Las Vegas and be back in time for dinner and a show. It is only 3 hours by ground or 20-30 minutes by air but if you stay in Phoenix, you will be 5 hours drive from the Skywalk.

If you are planning on going to the National park, you want to land in Phoenix or Flagstaff Arizona as it is a 5 1/2 hour drive away. There are also tours available to the South Rim, National Park from Las Vegas if you prefer.

Hello
I guess I am one of those lucky persons who already had the chance of walking on the skywalk. I must say it was one of those experiences of a lifetime. I wasn't scared so I could fully enjoy the breathtaking views. My only regret was that I wasn't allowed to take any pictures, even when I said that I was a travel journalist and that I was working, so I needed photos.
I came back home, to Portugal, and wrote the article anyway, but I could have done a much better work If I had the chance of taking my own pictures.
