The Skywalk is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Yes, it's expensive but if you take advantage of the entire West Rim experience it will stay with you forever. I wouldn't have missed it for any amount of money. Lots of memories for my family in the pictures I took.

Keep in mind that the North Rim opens May 15, at the earliest. I suggest you wait to hear about the success of your backcountry permit before you make additional reservations. grand canyon vacations
